为了梳理Concept Laser积累的大量know how,Concept Laser在探索以更结构化的方式来生成知识体系,更具体地用于新的发展。Concept Laser研发人员目前大约每天生成3-4个试验报告,报告是系统的评价和研究的具体工具。

Concept Laser参展EMO意大利欧洲机床展与传统机床品牌肩并肩展览,传统机床品牌在市场化的进程中亦是积累了大量的know how,技术的背后是头脑和经验,每一份产品,无论是增材制造技术加工出来的,还是传统金属切削机床加工出来的,其背后均蕴含了技术人员不断常识、优化、探索的过程。拿Concept Laser展示的带内冷的钻头举例,内冷通道通过选择性激光熔融技术一次成型具有简化生产过程,优化冷却通道的特点,再一次验证了增材制造技术在复杂产品制造方面的优势。

Concept Laser的专利证明了其创新管理是如何实现的。Concept Laser拥有超过50项专利并且拥有约100的专利申请,大部分的专利申请将在不久的将来被授予,其专利的发明数量一直在稳步增长。

Knowledge generation in R&D is an important stimulus for Concept laser’s capacity to innovate and the speed of our innovation. Creativity and innovation are key aspects of technology design and future success. The strategic importance of Concept laser’s R&D department is also reflected clearly in the number of employees: Concept laser’s development center currently employs a staff of 60. In addition, Concept Laser GmbH is partner of numerous research and development co-operations with universities, technical-scientific institutions and industrial companies.

Most recently, Concept laser has been working on how can generate knowledge in a more structured manner, and use it more specifically for new developments. The R&D staff currently produce roughly 3-4 test reports every day, which are systematically evaluated and investigated for concrete applications. Patents prove how capable Concept laser’s innovation management is. Concept Laser GmbH is owner of more than 50 granted patents. At present, the company owns approx. 100 pending patent applications. The majority of the patent applications will be granted in the near future. The number of inventions applied for patents by the company has been steadily growing.

Interview with Mr Stefan Ritt, VP-Head ofGlobal Marketing & Communications

SLM to open Shanghai office in November / New technology to premiere at Formnext

Milan, Italy: 05 Oct 2015: SLM features in their firstparticipation in EMO their selective laser melting machine SLM 280, which isalready in the market. It features two laser sources to create two work piecesin parallel (equivalent to multi-spindle machining in classic CNC applications)or alternatively, to work on one work piece simultaneously for a faster overallprocess. They have decided to join classic metalworking show EMO, as they feelthat metal-based additive manufacturing develops faster towards industrial levelapplications than those using plastics. „In metal-based 3D printing the materials are exactly the same as what is used in classic CNC machining, inplastics however those are not exactly the same, which slows down the movement towards industrial manufacturing. This is why we decided to come here andexhibit side by side with classic CNC metal working technologies.,” explains MrRitt, VP-Head of Global Marketing & Communications at SLM.

New technology features to premiere at FORMNEXT

The companyinformed 3D Science Valley at EMO that new technology developments would premiereat FORMNEXT, a 3D printing trade show that will take place in November inFrankfurt, Germany. Their company’s three current machine types will all runlive on one of the largest booths at this new show. They will feature severalimproved technical details, which prepare the machines for industry 4.0 (IoT)integration. Furthermore they will introduce fully automatic circuit powdersupply. Users can also expect increased performance of the lasers with regardto daily applications in an industrial manufacturing environment.

SLM continues growth path & opens Shanghai location

Mr Ritt gladly announced that SLM continues on its international growth path: “Thisyear we have seen a clear positive trend in the automotive industry forpurchasing 3D printing equipment mainly for their own mould and dieproduction.” The general development continues to reflect well on SLM’sdevelopment with sales and staff numbers nearly doubling over the past fewyears. The first half of 2015 has already seen an order intake almost threefoldcompared to the similar period in 2014.

On November12, 2015 SLM will open its Shanghai location with machines running live onsite. This will be the latest addition to SLM’s international representations following Singapore and Novi, Michigan (US). Looking ahead, Russia and India will be next. (KP)

SLM Solutions告诉3D科学谷,除了在EMO展出SLM 280,他们还准备在德国法兰克福11月份的FORMNEXT展会上展览其三台最主要的创新技术增材制造设备,这也将是SLM Solutions最大的展台。

SLM Solutions将隆重介绍其为工业4.0所改进的技术细节,并且还会介绍他们完全的自动粉末供给循环系统。用户可以可以在工业制造环境中期待这些提高了性能的激光增材制造设备日常的运营提高他们的绩效。
