Intelligent manufacturing is the inevitable trend of the development of manufacturing industry, when 3D printing engaged with industry 4.0, what will happen to change? The spring of 3D print has arrived, are we ready? Which business model is the best for 3D print industry?
During the Third World 3D Printing Technology Industry Conference & Expo press conference, the world 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance chief executive officer – Luo Jun pointed out that the future development of 3D printing must engaged with big data, cloud computing, internet, artificial intelligence, numerical control technology and so on. The Third World 3D printing technology industry conference focused on the “meet the 3D printing 3.0 era” attracted more than 1200 attendees from more than 10 countries and regions. The Third World 3D printing technology industry expo attracted more than 100 companies from Germany, the United States, Belgium and China. The exhibitors showcased the latest 3D printing products and 3D printing solutions. With the exhibition area of 1.6 million square meters is so far the largest scale of global 3D printing industry exhibition. The visitors frequency are expected to be above 30,000.
3D printing industry is picking up, Luo Jun confidently said, only the first half of this year, the Chinese government has published two important policies to promote the development of 3D printing industry. From the perspective of the market, 3D printing will be is expected to achieve 200 billion RMB in 2020 from the worldwide. Although 3D printing is a cutting-edge advanced manufacturing technology, under the background of intelligent manufacturing trend, 3D printing also has long way to be upgraded. Hence, during this conference, Cambridge University, the University of Bath and other global 3D printing industry experts and entrepreneurs has achieved the alliance of developing 3D printing intelligent roadmap.
Luo Jun said that the purpose of The Third World 3D printing technology industry conference is to help the local 3d printing industry development and nurturing the related industries. China 3D printing Innovation Center, the 3D print online (www.3d2013.com), and China 3D Printing Institute intend to choose Chengdu as regional headwater of southwest region.
